Health Insurance Companies Donate to Haiti

Health insurance companies are donating money to Haiti, however many believe this effort is less than 'generous' given the size of the companies. These people are in dire need of services typically covered by dental insurance and individual health insurance policies, however these people in Haiti obviously have none of that.

However true it may be that these companies can afford more, I certainly applaud their effort in giving donations of $10,000 up to $100,000.

They brought up the fact that smaller companies like Go-Daddy are putting up $500,000+ in donations to Haiti. I texted to the Red Cross for only $10, does my small donation mean nothing?

I believe that whoever wrote this article has forgotten that the volume of people donating is more important than the individual donation amounts!
