NFL Play 60 Super Kid

Ava Childs, a 10-year old girl from Glen Ellyn, IL was chosen over 17,000 other entries to be named the NFL Play 60 Super Kid. The contest, which was open to children aged 6 - 13, asked entrants to describe which NFL player inspires them to be fit and why, and also to state their personal goals and share how their family stays active and healthy.

Ava won by writing that Robbie Gould, kicker for the Chicago Bears, inspires her not only to stay in shape, but also to try to become the first female kicker in the NFL. She was able to meet Gould when he came to her school to let her know she had won.

As grand prize winner, Ava and her family received an all-expenses paid trip to Super Bowl XLV and she delivered the game ball to the officials just before the start of the game. What made this event even more memorable was that it was the first football game she'd ever attended. Gould also gave her his Bears' jersey.
