In a recent Parade article, Leslie Gelb outlined what he called a “grueling and inspirational” day spent with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Within a day’s time, she discusses U.S.–India strategy, swears in new State Department officials, holds a policy dinner on Iran, makes calls to leaders around the world, and meets with President Obama and the Canadian Prime Minister to discuss trade issues.
