Walk for Choice: Speak up for Women

Two weeks ago, the House of Representatives voted to defund Planned Parenthood which provides health care, including mammograms, family planning and HIV screenings for millions of women in over 800 clinics across the country.

In response, on Saturday, February 26, thousands of community members gathered at state capitols all across the country in protest of the vicious attack on women.

Lucy Rose and I attending the "Walk for Choice" in Washington, DC. Many of us gathered right outside the U.S. Capitol in solidarity.

This is a reminder of the importance to contact our Senators and express our deep opposition to the defunding of Planned Parenthood.
