The Status Quo Is Not Okay: Limits on Abortion Access and the Battle Ahead

This webinar will discuss a new report by the Center for Reproductive Rights, in collaboration with the National Network of Abortion Funds, which documents the stories of women who have been recently affected by the Hyde Amendment. The presenters will also report on new federal attacks related to Hyde, including the ban on abortion coverage for women with pre-existing conditions and the introduction of a bill to make Hyde and other funding bans permanent. They will also discuss current state initiatives to defend and expand access to abortion, and suggest strategies for moving forward to change the status quo on Hyde and ensure that every woman can make the best decision for herself and her family.
